AE Senior Thesis

The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) is a web‐based project and information center. It contains material produced for a year‐long Senior Thesis class. Its purpose, in addition to providing central storage of individual assignments, is to foster communication and collaboration between student, faculty consultant, course instructors, and industry consultants. This website is dedicated to the research and analysis conducted via guidelines provided by the Department of Architectural Engineering. Buzzard Point's New Hot Spot

With five restaurants surrounding the ground level, four raised courtyards, and a rooftop pool, Confluence will be the place that all the young professionals want to live.

Confluence

Confluence, which is a fictitious name, will be a mixed use, renovation type building in the Washington, D. C. area. It will house five restaurants and 480 residential units as well as luxury amenity space. It is seven floors of existing concrete structure and one added Penthouse steel. In addition, it has two existing levels of underground parking. The building cost is $113 million with an anticipated schedule of 30 months.
